Assetto Corsa Competizione [PC, XO, XBSX|S, PS4, PS5]

On the Xbox Series X the game runs better thanks to the 1.7.10 update, nearly flawless 60 fps, better mirror effect and some graphical bug fixes. The game looks great and the driving feels very solid.

So Assetto Corsa 2, basically.

Been waiting for this for so long! Competizione being limited to just GT racing really hampered my interest in it. I love motorsports, but the appeal of sims for me is more than just strict motorsports disciplines, it's being able to enjoy all kinds of different cars.

This will have me more motivated to finally upgrade my setup(including my VR headset, still using CV1) more than many other games, honestly. This is basically gonna be the first next gen full on sim.

I've never driven the Tyrrell P34 in any sim before, that'll be something new.

A more interesting car to drive is the Lotus 56

What makes it interesting? its powered by a gas turbine

Because the engine takes time to spool up think of it like driving online with a 1,000 ms ping

Oh yea, I've got a whole T300 + 599XX wheel + TH8A shifter + T3PA Pro pedals(modded) setup. My screenname isn't random, I absolutely love racing and am a huge F1 and MotoGP fan. It's also a massive reason I love VR, as racing and VR are the perfect fit. When I say upgrade my setup, I mean my PC mainly, as it's ancient(3570k/GTX1070). I'll probably also look at a Quest 3 for a VR upgrade.

As for the Tyrrell P34 driving normal, I'm not expecting it to be some drastically different beast, but I'm still very curious how the dynamics are affected with the front tire grip being very longitudinal rather than horizontal, and how the front end grips. The whole design was based on reducing drag and improving rear downforce, and so actually compromised front end grip. Plus I think it'll just look super cool in VR looking over at these two small front wheels per side.

It should be pretty directly comparable with the Ferrari 312T.
