Apple set to use NVIDIA GPU in MacBook Pro refresh

    A news story on AppleInsider seems set to confirm rumours we've heard in recent weeks that NVIDIA is going to provide the GPU for the upcoming MacBook Pro refresh. Indeed, Apple's online store is currently unavailable due to product updates taking place, and we believe the refresh is the reason.<br />

    It's a fact. 8600MGT.
    Go to Apples site and have a look at them. LED backlights is a good direction for the industry, it will be interesting to see these in real life. Will the first generation live up to the promise of the technology? They advertise an increase in battery life (to six hours) so that part looks good.
