Anyone know what two arrows on a shortcut mean?

My sister just asked me what the arrows on this mean and I hate to admit it but I'm clueless:

That was my first thought too, but those are blue arrows.

Oh hang on, that's just the standard remote desktop icon isn't it? So that's just a shortcut to a remote desktop connection for, I assume, her school PC?
