Anybody know of a good AIM client?

I used to use Trillian, then they didn't update in forever and I said screw it. So I found miranda. It's better than Gaim in quite a few ways. Gaim is cool for the nix support, however.

In anycase, go here.

Oh. I thoguht it was a codec like file or something. I don't have the cash to get Trillian Pro, otherwise I'd try it.

here's a second for miranda. very small and clean, no installation, can even be run from removable media ;P

I tried miranda, just couldn't seem to like it.
It seemed...clunky, and a bit of a PITA to set up.

It's pretty good now a days. And the PITA to setup is worth it, because unlike many other IMs, it allows you to setup your incomming and outgoing ports for any of the protcols. This means I can actually send and receive files from behind a NAT without having to forward specific ports that are "fixed".

Not to mention the fact that the plugins are cool. The history ones needs some work, I might be half tempted to make my own, it's kinda crappy right now.
