Assembly 2006 was late summer/early fall. Many worked hard to bring their entries to the scene and amongst the prizes were AMD processors. Some happy winners had an AMD processor as the sole prize, others were supposed to receive the processor among with other prizes.
Well, it would seem that people got their fair share of thingamabobs but its december and the processors still haven't found their way to people and there's not a lot joy in the oldskool mailing list of Assembly... understandable, it's been quite a few months and people are considering just forgetting about it and actually buying the processor they already bought motherboard for...
I thought the prizes were supposed to be delivered to the party place and received during the ending ceremony... Way to go AMD.
