    Makes sense, could work.

    With ARM beginning to attack the x86 market from below soon, you have to concentrate on your strenghts and market them - performance for example.

    AMD drivers already show splash graphics for games during install, and often includes "optional" shortcuts (that you have to disable because you don't want 'em cluttering up your desktop) for trial versions and so on.

    It could be a good thing methinks, ideally speeding up further development of GPGPU software faster than would have happened otherwise.
