The name looks alright to me.

I mean I hated athlon but after living with it for 10 years almost you get used to it.
(I kind of hated Wii too Imight add. But got used to that also.)

It's not as if we have a choiuce really. It's been decided so better just get on with our lives huh?

I didn't mind Athlon , I liked Duron , Pentium , Itanium and of course Sparc . What I can't stand is Sempron . For now Phenom isn't too far behind Sempron , hopefully it will grow on me , because surely Sempron hasn't .

Doesn't sempre or something along those lines mean always in latin? When I hear sempron I think "Always-Pr0n".

Phenom sounds better than Athlon. And hope the performance increase combined with socket compatbility (AM2) will make it a winner. The Phenom X2 probably will be a good/cheap upgrade for me without new mobo/memory.
