4850 without a dout, way better AA performance and just better overal performance.

Try and save up for a while longer and get a 4870 1gig??

Talking about playback and recording, is there an app to calibrate the Color setting on that CCC, because it looks awful at the moment.

And I am having some HDMI problem too. I am beginning to regret getting 4850.

I find it to have a bit better colors than my previous 7900GT/8800GTX and noticably better sharpness (clean sharpness) out of the box. But in the CCC in the tab "colors" you can tweak some things.

I wasn't talking about colour sharpness, I was talking about a white/yellowish tint that cover the screen. I got rid of it by setting TV to use limited RGB. But I get crushed black now. But crushed black is better compare to that tint. I also get judder with DVD hardware playback. I just use the PC for recording stuff and stream it to PS3 for playback. Kinda workout in the end. Now if ATI or Cyberlink can used that 4850 for useful hardware encoding, I'll be happy.
