    :'(

I know things change as time goes on, but still tears come out of my eyes...

I'll be happy when the AMD radeon is the fastest thing around. On a possitive note this might be a good time for them to drop he silly XXX1337XX XTX HAXOR name scheme.

    LOLZ.

i would love to see even something as simple as x##00 and then just a regularly significant suffix, i.e., "xt is always better than "gt" which is always better than "st" which is always better than "pro" which is always better than vanilla. If there's much regularity to the system as it stands now, I'm missing it.

A little sad about the ATi logo and website. It reminds me of how every other company buyout I've ever followed goes -- "oh we plan no changes to existing product lines and marketing" which then changes to immediate closure, renaming, or reorganization of the acquired company, and redesign of all the products as soon as the sale is final. I kinda hope this is the last bit of news we hear on this subject for a year or two...

AMD has the former Real3D engineers, not the Real3D patents. ;)
Those still belong to Intel (that's why they bought the company in the first place).

See, now I'm just suspicious enough to be reminded of what Metternich said when informed of Talleyrand's death --"Hmmm, I wonder what he meant by that?" ;)
