I'm going to give these new drivers a shot tonight. I'm currently playing Mass Effect 2 and I've noticed the occasional glitchy texture or model, so I'm hoping I might see a change there. Runs great though, and looks excellent with 4xAA (even if it's hard to make that stick - keeps turning AA off all on its own!).

Seems to be about shader compilation time. So not really dx11, but maybe the fermi compiler is slow too. Also check this: http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=1396907&postcount=20
I wonder if the multi threaded contexts in dx11 can perform the load/compilation (or if that part has to be single threaded) - then a developer task could a least help quite a bit..

Question: When is Catalyst 10.3 coming out? The official drivers on the website are still 10.2. It's all good talking about 10.3 but a bit disappointing that they aren't available already(it being 23 March already) and it being talked about for over a week already.

They have been out since last week. http://sites.amd.com/us/underground/tips/Pages/catalyst-10-3-preview.aspx

WHQLed version is being released tomorrow.

But know that 1.3a (the non-WHQL version) is newer than the drivers coming out tomorrow.

As the notes say, this release is to primarily support the Eyefinity 6 Edition, which needed some fairly major changes to the driver to support under Win 7.

I'd assume these are 10.3a + Eyefinity6 support, which is mentioned

So, is ATi ditching the "hot-fix" moniker?
