Two quickies:

1. How does one add a Windows 2000/xp/vista to an existing domain or AD?

2. What's the name of the tool for managing AD objects? In Novell it was NDS Manager.

Thanks.............

Go into System Properties -> Computer name and click the change computer name button. (Joining a domain is not possible for the XP home edition and probably not for Vista home)

Active Directory Users and Computers under Administration tools. (Needs the Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack )

Is the Computer object automatically created in the respective container?

I'm no expert on domain setup, but the computer objects are automatically created in the Default computers container where I work when the computer is added to the domain.
