360 HD-DVD Addon DOTD @ Amazon $80 Shipped

While this will problably be sold out before anyone here would benefit, for what its worth the HD-DVD Player is $80. With the still active movie deal thats Player + Remote + 6 movies which is damn good regardless of the condition of the HD-DVD camp.

Darn the offer's gone (unless I did something wrong? )

I know the format is dying, but theres still some cool movies to purchase at lower prices so I couldnt pass it up.

Maybe they'll have another one in the future?

I'm sort of pissed at the current situation with HD DVD obviously being dead in the water, yet stubborn studios like Universal and Paramount still releasing movies exclusively in the format. WAKE UP! There's a lot of movies I'd like to buy on B-r but they're not being released in the format yet.

As long as it remains in the DOTD section they somtimes restock, but that price was/is only good for today unfortunetly.


In seperate but related news the addon was officially dropped to an MSRP of $130 today.
