300 bucks for the X800SE is a bit strong IMO.

    | EDIT : bwah, replying to stuff three pages back kinda sucks. |

Check the compatible video card list linked on that page.

Only $6,000. I'll take three for some surround gaming :)

My gues is that both the Pro and XT have 16 pipes so only thing that differs are the clocks.

Bah if they read 39 pages they can find a link.

Here is a link posted by a guest in another thread. I rather doubt sm3.0 considering the leaked ATI presentation.

Not everyone has the connections you might have. I learnt a few bits from Dave's posts in this thread already.

    Me? Connections? Hah! :D

I just learned a long time ago that people sometimes get their rocks off by playing the "dangle the info" game with the masses. What better way to be a wet blanket than to 'meh' it away and wait until the official release date of the info? :) It's gunna happen anyways, so I take the more mellow route. :)

I would think the info from AnandTech to be quite reliable when it is this late into the game. Besides, it is supported by quite a lot of people with insider info here(Mufu, Hellbinders, Dave  , etc) already.

Also, in order to have both 16 pipe, it would eat into margin to much and would probably need to lower down the clock rate to have a high enough yield. So, it is better, as Hellbinder suggested, to have a full performace part of XT and then a slower performance Pro part that target more people and don't lose margin as much.

Hmm am I reading it wrong or that fillrate value does not mix with the rest of the table?

If the core were running around 500Mhz, then the fillrate would have to be around 8000 Megapixels, not 6400. That'd correspond to a 400Mhz core clock. Ah wells. Wednesday is just around the corner. :)

That page is all BS. Anyone of us here could have put that table together from the info on this thread alone!
And look at the picture. If thats an X800 I'll eat my hat!
(Starts contemplating wether to have sauce or gravy on that)
I mean for starters it only has 2 ram chips.
I'm sure if I bothered to look at the picture even longer I'd find a tonne of discrepencies.

Oh yeah look at the AGP connector!

Edit: Took out a few extra line breaks.

I'm kinda just wishing this hardware would be released so people can stop bickering about it.

But then I realise, Once its released, People will bicker anyway.

Well if you remember the first review of Nv30 and lars awarding the crown to the 5800 ultra last year, i would say that we may have again something to argue for the next 2 months :)

The high end x800 will most likely use K4J55323QF-GC12 from Samsung. Yes that is 800 Mhz, as in 1600 MHz DDR. I would be suprised if each new high end card from both camps didn't use memory from that same family of parts. zippy

So.. you dont think the R420XT will be clocked lower than the Pro either. ;)

BTW its looks like something is happening over at www.nvidia.com
