Those 1TB iPads with 6 gigs, I'm wondering if that extra ram is due to the flash mapping table being larger on 1TB vs smaller storage sizes.
I'm hoping Anandtech comes with an iphone review this year after skipping the it and the ipad pro last year. None of the reviews I've seen does...
Question on the side. Is Anandtech still doing mobile reviews?
Johny Srouji's interview in Bloomberg, the A9X was moved up half a year.
Hard to look flipping back and forth. Anandtech Huawei Mate 8 review, the A72 stores higher on SPECint2000 than Kyro? Still reading.
Very weird cpu combo for that DRIVE PX 2 thing.
Did the 810 hit a new low at Anandtech's OnePlus 2 review?
Anandtech's article is up. 2+2 kryos differing in cache/mhz and l3 cache.
Kinda cool that ultrasonic finger print works thru aluminum.
Was reading the anandtech nexus 5x review. Never knew the 808/810 could throttle so bad as to shutdown the A57s.
So Tom had a good Samsung and not as good TSMC.
Liquid cooling for the new Lumias?
Wonder if the 820 will have big.LITTLE or 810 was a one time thing due to the A57.
Weird. I just noticed there's still 2 models for the 6s/6s plus with one having lte 30 band and the other not.
Ars Technica have some throttling graphs
I like the power connector.
Another week another timbit on 820. Doesn't help all the 810 based stuff out there.
I missed ltcommander.data posting first. Apple's website is only showing A8 for mini 4
No air 3 really sucks. And mini 4 is only A8 too.
Makes me wonder what's going to be in the next 800s.
That Samsung chrome download have been bugging me for months on what exactly it is.
Looks like they announced some new stuff today.
They finally got prices that won't under cut others.
Well its the same compared to last years pricing but yes the mini 2's currently the better deal .
Looks like all they did was add touch id to the mini 3 and called it a day.
They showed 802.11n for the mini 3. Wondering if the air 2 is 802.11ac.
A8X is 3 billion transistors now.
I always thought S5 were LTE-A as it came after Samsung already made some S800 LTE-A S4.
Real nice of Qualcomm to announce this just days before the S5 goes on sale.
No browser crashes so far for 7.1. Seems like a nice update.
The s5 is very underwhelming upgrade from the s4. Almost like a sidegrade.
Mediatek just announced an quad A53 soc with T760
Ditto for browser crashes on my mini retina.
64 bit time for Qualcomm but not high end stuff.
Anyone post techreport's article on Mantle?
No 64bit core. I guess it will be for the next generation.
Read the Anandtech mini retina review. Disappointed about screen, cpu and throttling vs the Air. Maybe next year Apple will make a no compromise...
Mali T760 and T720 announced.
Kind of a bummer the good stuff on the anandtech pages is work in progress.
When Apple finally increases the size of the iphone display next year, they are going to have up the resolution or else it won't be retina...
They are claiming the retina mini is up to 8x faster than the mini for gpu and 4 times in cpu. Wouldn't that mean the A7 in retina mini kinda...
This Samsung regional lock is BS.
Already have problems with my palm/hand accidently touching the screen due to the thin bezel on the s4. I'll pass.
Cool, Apple used a stacked sensor.
They fixed that cache/bus thing too.
Look at the number of LTE bands the 5s/5c supports
Is there more info on when they expect to phase 2 and on to be done?
That's a very interesting response in its own way.
Anandtech's listing 750 as a lte band. Didn't think there was such a thing.
Canadians are better off with the euro version though as we have...
Very weird. T628 MP6 this time. http://www.engadget.com/2013/07/22/exynos-5-octa-5420/
Shouldn't the bezel be included in the discussion too? Galaxy S4 and the Xperia ZL manage bigger screens than the HTC One because of that....
