If you’re in New York this Thursday, we will be part of a major Honda event in the middle of Times Square to celebrate the launch of their CR-Z Sport Hybrid coupe.

Some other items to keep an eye out for:

* Exclusive musical performance by N.E.R.D. at the Honda Stage at 12:30pm located on Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets

* Interactive CR-Z vehicle displays

* Racing simulators for fans to play Gran Turismo 5 in 3D, featuring the CR-Z in-game

* Maxim models on site to distribute copies of the first ever 3D issue which includes a CR-Z 3D ad

* Polite in Public photo booths with 3D backdrops

* Distribution of special screen-printed shirts on-site

The event is this Thursday, September 23rd going from 10am to 6pm.

AFAIK, no. They've been developing the game around the DFGT AFAIK, so I don't think they'll release another one. There's nothing really wrong with the current lineup of wheels.... the DFGT is a solid budget wheel and the G25/G27 is a great high-end wheel. Plus there are other third-party options from Fanatec and I'm sure all of them will have full support in GT5.

No site seemed to pickup the news but logitech announced they are simply re-releasing their wheels for the game. So you have the DFGT, G25 (was discontinued) and G27 to chose from.

GT5 is getting a PS3 bundle in Europe and AU is getting a faceplate.

The faceplate looks awesome. :)

I might get it if it comes to NA.

Hope you have a slim PS3 because according to in shop advertising it is for slim units only.

I was really hoping for a NA bundle. That way I can buy a slim+GT5 in one go. Now I'm gonna have to keep an eye on slickdeals and such :(

Looks like they are using the playview tech as show in:

Like it was demonstrated back in 2009:

Each public build of the game has something new so I wonder what else will they show before November. Anyway, the 3rd cannot come soon enough.

PlayView is not confirmed for GT5 right ? It may be a one-off demo created by the PlayView researchers using GT5 data.

As of now, no it hasn't been confirmed. Its just a PlayView demo with GT5 cars. At the moment its just speculation that it might be in the game in some shape or form.

Holy crap! The Fiat 500 just flipped over when she took that turn too fast. I didn't see that coming! EDIT: happens again later (maybe a little too easily that time)

This one is cool too, especially the night time Le Sarthe in the second half:

Also there is some amazing tongue action in there. :LOL:
