OpenGL ES benchmark for mobile devices

Ok, this sucks.

You have to send the results before you can view them! Since I tried this on a not released (but launched) proto phone with non released software, I don't want to send results to any server. I just want to see how well it's performing in this benchmark.

Well, there's the business side. It's free as long as you give something (your results) back to the developer. For prototype testing you have to get the Corporate Edition. Seems fair to me.

N95?

No Sony Ericsson W900i.... It's got an NV gpu...

W900i has a proprietary OS, and it's not open to developers to port native OpenGL ES apps, like GLBenchmark.

But W900i runs Java Mobile 3D (JSR 184) applications, like JBenchmark HD pretty fast. See: http://www.jbenchmark.com/result.jsp?benchmark=hd (W900i has the 6th best score)

BTW, JBenchmark HD uses absolutely the same scene as native GLBenchmark HD (the results are here: http://www.glbenchmark.com/result.jsp?orderby=fps10&brand=all&submit=OK&benchmark=glpro )

Many Symbian devices can be found in both tables. This makes the benchmark numbers even more interesting.

Would the reported difference in graphics scores between the Nokia E90 and the N95 be more like the kind that would result from variation in the software implementation and/or available memory or more like the kind that would result from a different processor, like an OMAP2430 versus an OMAP2420?
