New Fatal Inertia Screens

I don't think it looks that bad. It looks like a pretty average game for launch. I'm more interested in the gameplay. But don't forget guys that they are still making the game. Post-processing still is probably being implemeting as we speak.

Moonblade does have a point. The orginal trailer was pretty much all ingame assets. And the big difference between it and the new shots are the cinematic camera angles. If you check the old images with cinematic camera angles it comes pretty close. Though the water doesnt look anywhere close to the original.

Factor in the improved textures of the new build it should look a little better.

but Of course the game play is going to look different than the cutscenes. I think it's better to judge the new gameplay shots on video anyways.

Anyways I think its being debated too much as it is, this is a launch title so it can be forgiven on the graphics side compared to 2nd gen games. I think the gameplay is much more important, and from the gamespot weapons preview it does sound fun w/ the physics based attacks.

I'm still interested in seeing more of the fire on the left side of this image...

Though low quality as hell, it looked pretty good moving around in this video http://www.playfrance.com/video-fatal-inertia.html (about 25 seconds into the footage)

Thanks for this. Why is this game so slow?? Looking at the target trailer I was expecting this game to be super fast. Ah well I love games like this, the environments look decent. I just hope they can get the game up to speed!

I'm crossing my fingers that Sony will announce a next-gen Wipeout at TGS.

I feel the same, the game barely has any sense of speed IMO.

Yeah I'm hoping they get to speed up to Burnout 4 levels.

Well maybe not that fast lol, that fast and I probably couldnt emphasize on weapons. Wipeout pure levels would be fine to me. I think the actual game will be fast though. Remember in most racing games (burnout, ridge racer, wipeout, every other racer, etc) all the vehicles are actually pretty slow in the beginning, when you start unlocking more is when the vehicles really start getting fast.

I think it looks nice...

If there's a battle mode (something like mario kart), with all those weapons and open tracks (they dont even look like tracks, feels a lot more like a arena or something like that), could be fun as hell.

These pictures remind me that I really want to see some pics of the PS3 Wipeout that Liverpool Studios is working on.

I'd also love to see a new hovercraft game from Amusement Vision (On the X360 and/or PS3, please).

(not watched the vids)
but i have to say these shots are some of the worse ive seen on a next gen console, shame.
