I don't think Nintendo will change the name. They like the whole "i" = people thing and won't give that up for anything. Nintendo has lost it for the 3rd time.

Yeah, but only because someone in one of the territories had already trademarked something similar or identical. That's the only reason they changed it, so as to keep continuity across all territories they marketed the system in.
I hope they make a change as I don't think this name does them or their new system any good...at least, in the short term. Certainly, it's going to be the butt of a lot of jokes.
