Dynamic Online play

Diminishing returns what? I didn't think so. Could this be a PS3 launch game. If so I'll spend the $60 on it quick. This is the best looking game yet.

you're tought it look great and yes we have see other great thing on another plateform.
Anyway the post is worth it, when don't see PS3 games screenshot so often ;)
edit
if screenshot are not
Confidence Man: target images

Don't forget the that it has 4 player co-op....:D

Edit: A guy on another forum who apparantly knows an animator who is working on this game said that they are using renderware. Isn't renderware too much of a hassle to use for next-gen consoles?

If these are the first MoH pics, then what were all of those screenshots in last months Game Informer?

I think those were from a trailer (movie) not the game

are these supposedly in game screenies? or just taken from the trailer?

Yeah first to hit the internet. And yes everyone knows that this game is coming out for the X360 too.

Supposedly, according to Game Informer....those screens were captured from a video reel EA had put together. The video reel contained both target renders and actual in-game footage. If you've seen the GI magazine...a mix of both are presented. The best part--you can't tell the renders apart from the actual in-game footage.

A little clarification...

According to the original Game Informer article...the captions for the following pictures state:

Real-time in-game:

Target Render:

You can tell the difference...just look at the polygon edges on the helmet in the first picture...and the increased geometry in the render (round edged helmet).

could just be the angle and you can't see the edges on the second pic, because in the second pic look at the shoulder and wrist you can clearly see the polygon edges there

so one may be real-time, one may be rendered, but it looks as if they are using the same model for both

Look again...the helmet is clearly using much higher geometry and has higher resolution textures for the camoflouge in the 2nd picture (render)...there is no disputing that based on angle, etc.

Also, the captions in the pictures in GI magazine explicity state realtime on PS3 (in-game) for the first pic and target render/artwork for the second pic.

But as far as Target Renders are concerned...they are using touched-up models/assets from the actual game to represent the final look and feel of the game. Often these touched up models have slightly higher geometry and higher resolution textures, as they are an artists approximation of the final look of the game based on the specs available.

Edit: look at this other in-game pic from the same sequence as the first pic....the geometry in the helmet and resolution of the textures is definitley different from that of the render:

really? I dont think so. lets wait and see gameplay screens. We all know PS3 can render graphics better than Xbox 360 because of Cell Capability of high end video processing, but lets see if its the same case with gameplay screens running on actual code

The whole point of target renders is that they use the game assets. The screenshots you are purporting as in game have excessive anti-aliasing. Only the faces seem to have an excessive number of polygons.

Well, the target renders could be how good it looks in the movies at least. Also, I thought you couldn't have AA on PS3 if you have HDR, but the beam of light coming from the lightbulb seems to suggest that...

looks nice, might have to give the edge to GRAW though.

Honestly, I'm not too thrilled about this game at all, it's another EA MOA game...Brothers in Arms 3, now that is going to be killer.
