I'm considering buying it to replace my Abit AN7 and AthlonXP-M, however don't want to spend (read: cannot spend) the money for DDR2 or a PCIe graphics card (it's more the PCIe graphics card...and I like my 6800GT anyways, it's fast enough for me, just need more CPU power)

So I was wondering if anyone had experiences with this board or had any comments on it, or the PT880 chipset? I have the PT880 non-ultra in a Socket 478 box, it clocked amazingly well for me with a Celeron D, but it's neither an Asus nor a Socket T...so I'm somewhat concerned I'll be getting something entirely different with this purchase than with that one, however features wise the chipset and the board both look very promising...so I'm really looking for input.

I try and avoid VIA, but that's just me.

The Asus P5P800 is another s775 AGP DDR board, using the i865 chipset.

I've seen some people around running overclocked 920Ds, so the power circuitry must be pretty good.

edit: Only the P5P800 SE supports dual core processors, not the regular P5P800.
