1) A - (1280x1024 native res of TFT)

2) NO - not planning to upgrade to R520 unless they do an AGP version as it means a complete mobo/cpu etc system upgrade.

3) Samsung SM181T LCD & Hansol 19" CRT - I run dual screens .

3) Dell 2005FPW on a regular basis; an old CRT based on an FD Trinitron tube when I need a good black level (Doom3); Dell 2005FPW + Samsung 172 for dual display gaming (flight simulator)

1. 1600x1200 when I can, may lower to 1280x960 or even 1024x768 to get 4x fsaa.
2. Yes, I'd like a nice widescreen lcd.. one that has a decent contrast ratio.. right...
3. HP M90.. ok 19" crt 1600x1200 75 but only .26 dot pitch and not flat of course.

2. I can't really afford for now either a bigger monitor or a better vid card (currently ti4200 128MB with slight o/c). But if I were to upgrade to better vid card (such as 12 pipe G7x) I'd get a used 21" IBM CRT.

3. IBM G76 (8648), 17" CRT really nice looking (excellent colors), 1152x864@85Hz (I don't go higher res, going below 85Hz sucks, it does 1600x1200 60Hz), not trinitron/diamondtron so no annoying dark lines, not quite flat but I love it as it is.

planning to use a second 17" CRT which'll be probably plugged on a Banshee PCI (no dual head on my gf4).

3) Dell 2405 FP LCD

I will upgrade to R520, but no need to upgrade my monitor. :D My lil 9800nonPro just can't handle 1920x1200. :(

1. 1280x1024 *my LCD's native rez)
2. Already have 7800GTX SLI
3. Hyundai L90D+

I want to get myself a nice Dell widescreen LCD soon, perhaps after Christmas.
 1280x1024 with a SLI system?
That's madness!

Look what is coming out soon I paid more than twice that price for my 23 inch crt some years ago. So a 6 ms 24 inch at that price is a bargain.

As LCD prices drop so much, no wonder why people want to be able to use more and more theses High resolutions.

1. 2560 x 1024 (2 LCDs with 1280x1024 native resolutions)

2. Not planning to upgrade to a R5x0 as my NV40 seems to be doing fine and I am aiming for the second gen of DX10 cards (maybe a R500 could be in the cards though in 2006, depending on what games come out and how the RSX based platform looks game wise although I am liking the R500 platform features with online and HD resolutions on VGA monitors)

3. Two Hyundai L90D+

1. B (1920 x 1080)
2. No.
3. Hitachi 50v500

The TV's native resolution is actually a bit above 1280x720, but running it at 1920x1080 gives me a visibly superior image (and also a bit of free SSAA.) I'd love to run this resolution in every game I play at 4xAA and 8xAF as a bare minimum. Right now I can play HL2 at approximately those settings and do pretty well, but many other games can't churn it out.

1-b 3200x1200
2-Likely to upgrade to R5x0. Ill upgrade my monitors when something better than dells 2405 monitor comes out.
3- 2x dells 2001fp

most of my buying decisions will be based on oblivion. /grin
