Are you expecting something like say...3Dc to use? It's not an ATi only thing if I recall. I'd ask if you were expecting something better, but somehow I don't think you'd respond to that if you had the answer. ;) Although, even with 3Dc, up to 4:1 compression... You guys will have a pretty clean looking game!
