Olympus C-765UZ. As a quick test and compare to my old Olympus C990:

with just 2 days experience, it seems to be quite good, though I haven't yet explored all the things you can adjust with it. With extra battery and 256MB xD (Olympus branded, has Panorama function) costed to me 500 Euros. After old C990 (basically fist generation 2Mpix point and shot) I really like able to manually adjust everything.
