Possible for a website owner to lose his mind?

I think it is possible as I ran an F-1 sim racing league/site this past
year that nearly drove me nuts with stupidity and...just dealing with
it basically.

Well...didn't lose my mind but wanted to....

Anywho....

Without mentioning names...

I have watched this site go downhill for months now, mostly due to the fact
that the owner is slowly, BUT VERY STEADILY, losing his mind, inflating
his ego, puffing it out for the rest of the world to see and get squished
by, and really went from a pleasant guy to a dictator and just arsehole
all within roughly 6 months.

Also, this particular site I theorize, is on ATI's payroll in some sort
of way...bandwidth costs paid for...direct money into account(s).

Below is a TAME example of this guy's "My way or the Highway", screw
you attitude.

Can you read? if not then I suggest you learn, read the first post in the
thread and my replies, especially my last.

There will be no trades, no deals, no parts sold, no one will get it,
your granny wont get it, your dog wont get it, no one will get it!.
the card will be destroyed, now I suggest quite strongly if you have
nothing to offer to the point of this thread you stop posting, otherwise
you will lose the right to post. If you dont want to have fun and can only
think of your own gains, then go to ebay and buy one second hand.

BTW, I got banned from this site after I mentioned in a thread that
one of the Moderators had tried to send me a virus in a PM/Link.

After being asked to identify to the owner who it was, but refusing because
I have this strange value in me that says ratting/snitching anybody out,
anywhere, for any reason...is weak, and I just have never been that
way. Wasn't raised that way.

First time I have been back to the site since like...September?

Still must mean something to me because:

1.I can't wait for this guy to go down in flames.

2. Naaa...doesn't mean anything to me...just hate the asshole
who runs the site.

I must be missing something, but I don't see what was wrong with getting banned for making an accusation of improper behavior by a moderator, then refusing to back it up or even give any specifics.

Unless there is only one moderator and it's trivially obvious who you are accusing, it's pretty unjustifiable to bring suspicion to a bunch of people and then refuse to back it up or even limit the scope.

I agree with this. There was a choice between A.) making a specific claim which could then be investigated, verified, and dealt with, and B.) launching a non-specific accusation (rumor, actually) against everyone which can't be investigated or confirmed.

You made the less honorable choice.

You were "bmacya" on Driverheaven right? i remember you making quite a fuss at the time about some moderator sending you viruses in the feedback section but you wouldnt say who it was nor explain anything about it. the person you are talking about isnt a moderator, he was a gold member called twisted metal who used a public upload server ran by "tastyweat" called driverheavenuploads, he put something in this shared folder sent pms with a link to some people (he obviously didnt like) which affected some people with some script crashing protocol to Internet explorer.
