Online Virus scanner

I need an onllne scanner that will check a single .exe file for me.

If you use IExplorer to visit their site and enable ActiveX you can scan your whole PC online.

If you use another browser you can scan one file only.

BTW: this is the antivirus company from which MS bought their anitvirus tech.

Check this: Jotti's malware scan
It let you upload a file and then scan it with various antivirus software.
No plugins needed; the file is uploaded with a standard file form.

I recommend you get a permanent antivirus program. NOD32 kicks ass!Very fast, doesn't use much system resources, yet is highly accurate (100% in the standard antivirus test several years in a row).

Online virus scanners are OK for detecting viruses but not much use for removing them as they don't operate at a low-level and can't delete locked files etc.
