New Resident Evil 4 screenshots

Blurry video captures aren't very suitable for judging texture quality (or anything related to the quality of the image). I'm positive the game will look quite crisp when displayed on a tv.

You have to see the game in motion to appreciate it. The in-game particle effects alone are beyond any console game I've seen to date.

I'll wait to see the thing in motion, a player experience video could be nice too.

You will certainly be happy with these ...

NB : i found at a moment the same thing in mov (250 Mb), which was much more sharp, but i can't find it anymore !

Those are the first "real" gameplay movies I've seen. It looks pretty nifty.

Actually IGN had a lot more Gameplay movies from the E3 demo just have look arround

I got a 8 min high-res Resident Evil 4 trailer video around e3 time, and in motion it looks really better than screenshots, the excellent lighting engine or great animation are thing that still imges cant show.

Its a pity well have to wait till next year.

They work for me

Hmm, using which program? I've right clicked and save as. I've tried using a download manager (Flashget). The link just seems dead to me :?
They work just fine. I think the problem is when you are using "save link as" your web-browser is using "beyond3d.com" as referer and the IGN server denies you access to those files, because you are using a external link, not hosted on their site. It should work with your web browser, if you just copy'n'paste the links to a new, clean window/tab, then your web browser will most likely use the requested links as referer or leave it blank. Download utils like flashget (win32, gui, shareware, adware) or wget (commandline, as free as it gets) are doing the job even better since they are letting you define any referer you want and they support resume, useful when downloading big files.

BioHazard 4 definetly looks good, I wish it to play as good as it looks, contrarily to another recently released game I won't name :p

BTW, I'll repeat myself yet again, but I don't get why they did call it Resident Evil in the US and EU, BioHazard is so much more accurate, and less childish IMO.

I think the name change had something to do with trademarking issues, there was something called "Biohazard" already (a Band?).

I just downloaded the first WMV that was linked. This game is definitely better in motion than it is in screen shots. What is the release date for the game now?

Are you talking about the WMV links or the MOV links? Because I swear those MOV links just will not work for me. As I said I've tried Flashget and it doesn't work. I've also tried copying and pasting the link into a new window, but all I get is a "Cannot find server" "Page cannot be displayed". Its freaky if these links are working for everyone else but me.. because the WMV versions from the same site download fine.

This is really annoying, those links just refuse to work for me. I'm on Pipex ADSL and it never usually has this kind of problem.

I wanted some high res Res Evil 4 vids so I could convert them to MPEG and burn them to a VCD to play in a DVD player. The higher the video quality the better, regardless of size. What size are these .MOV vids and what sort of quality? If they're good enough I'll get a friend to download them and send them to me :)
