On my main machine, I'm kind of forced to use AOL as my broadband ISP. I noticed this morning on firing it up, a warning that I didn't have their spyware protection program installed. Since I'm already using Ad-aware 6, I wasn't bother but I put it on anyway, just to see what it's like.
Interesting little program....AOL's idea of spyware scanning is to check every single file on the hard drive - the whole lot. I've had it running now for over 90 minutes and it's still going 8) . Ad-aware's usually done in less than 5 minutes!
