Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition [PS, XB, NX, PC]

I didn't feel any disconnection when played proper remakes like Demon Souls or Mafia ;)

:) Demon Souls is 5 years and a generation older. Mafia's DE is a proper gameplay remake as well as graphic upgrade.

I'd argue that story aside, GTA 4/5 are essentially remakes of 3 and SA, with Vice strangely absent. But then I don't have a particular affection for mission or story from the old games.

I am quite shocked that this game was released in such a half baked state. These are iconic games and deserved better. Hopefully they will patch these games up and the final product will be good, but currently this looks like a quick cash grab.

Why don't I believe a single word that Rockstar has to say about this? So if they didn't meet their own standard of quality, why the F did they release them at all?

Rockstar admits GTA remasters “did not… meet our own standards of quality”
Original versions also coming back for download, free for remaster purchasers.

Today, though, the developer admitted in a blog post that "the updated versions of these classic games did not launch in a state that meets our own standards of quality, or the standards our fans have come to expect."

I've only put in about four hours into GTA San Andreas on Series X but I'm really enjoying it!

I've just watched the DF videos, I'm absolutely shocked at the state of these games. To think these were PS2 games and not a single one has a solid 60FPS experience :runaway:
