Back 4 Blood is in beta, with release date slated for October 12 2021. It looks to be in fairly decent shape already.

Seems like could be different issues, just coincidence of removing it when RT got added back in.
They explain the possible reason in the article.
it appears some PS5 players with 3D Audio on experienced additional background sounds from other cars that drowned out the sound of a player's car.

Although the notes don't go into details as to what those issues were, looking through the Codemasters forum, it appears some PS5 players with 3D Audio on experienced additional background sounds from other cars that drowned out the sound of a player's car.

It has nothing to do with raytracing. They're just squashing bugs.

EDIT: sorry for the repeated post, I wrote this a few hours ago but forgot to hit the post button.

yea that's clear, it's just weird they didn't resolve everything together. It's really bad form imo.

Tales of Arise | PS5 - Xbox Series S/X - One S/X - PS4/PS4 Pro | Graphics Comparison & FPS - YouTube

Xbox One: 972p ~35FPS
Xbox One X: 1872p ~35FPS
PS4: 1080p ~35FPS
PS4 Pro: 1440p ~35FPS
Series S: 1440p ~45FPS & 1080p 60FPS
Series X: 2160p ~50FPS & 1620p 60FPS
PS5: 2160p ~45FPS & 1620p 60FPS

- All versions have the framerate unlocked except for the Nextgen consoles FPS mode, which is kept at 60FPS.
- Xbox Series X averages 15FPS higher than PS5 in quality mode. An 1800p 60FPS mode on this platform would have been perfect.
- It would be a good decision to offer a locked mode at 30FPS (especially on oldgen consoles).
- Slightly faster loading times on PS5.
- The PS4 and Xbox One versions have cutouts in the textures and some shadows.
- Its artistic section of the best of the year. A lovely use of the Unreal Engine.

I guess the official specs states
Series X: 2160p ~50FPS
PS5: 2160p ~45FPS

However fps measurements shows on avg 15 fps more on xsx. Thats what i make from watching vid, its like re village stated 40 fps or something for RT on consoles however actual fps measurements were much higher.

Nah I watched video its not on avarage 15fps more on xsx he probably misstyped and should be 5fps as he wrote on video not description

maybe DF will check and we will know exactly by how much :D but you are probably right. There are some scenes where both version are pretty close but it seems like xsx is very close to 60 while ps5 stays at around 40ish (16 min +)

The Xbox One X version needs either a 30fps cap or performance tweaks to get the average fps up to 40+. 31-35hz is a pretty terrible range. Lots of VRR displays have a 40-60hz range or 45-75, 48-120, et cetera. 30-60 is rare. Yes, all the most recent high-end TVs and monitors will have 20-144hz w/LFC capabilities, but people that have those displays are also the types that will have already moved on to the 9th gen machines.
