and the video

explains that i need to plant my ass as far back as I can, then sit. with the lumbar pillow higher than ass.

but if I do that

1. my balls feels cramped
2. the lumbar pillow feels waaaay too thick
3. my kneepit (uh... armpit but on knees) is right on the edge of the chair

thus uncomfortable. but still more comfortable than my previous normal chair.

but if I recline the seat back a bit, I can sit really comfortable. but its not the proper sitting posture, and could bring various health issues.

Originally I want to get an ergonomic office chair (with netted back) but I cant find it :(

the chair is msi ch 120x

Can't help you with your issue with your massive balls, however I recently went through the process of buying a new office chair to try to resolve my back pain issues.

What I discovered is that chairs and desks are generally sized to conform to some ancient standard issued by a US standards organisation to fit the average American male who is 6'3" tall. This is despite the evidence that the average height of an American male is significantly shorter (5'8" IIRC). Also, 50% of the population aren't male and on average are a lot shorter than 6'3".

This is one of the reasons that seats tend to be too deep (front to back) hence your knee-pit problem. Moreover desks typically are the wrong height for the bulk of the human population on the planet.

Balls reduction surgery can help.

EDIT : about your knees, I had kind of the same problem. The little thing that helps is just to have something supporting my foot, so their is no "pressure" where my knee sit.

Manspread.

Press your arse to the back of the chair and let the natural curvature of your spine press as much as possible on to the pillow, with an horizontal vector. This is how you avoid lower back pain.

Cross your legs.

I finally broke down and ponied up for a good office chair with a 12 year warranty. I looked at both Aeron and Steelcase chairs and ended up getting a Steelcase Gesture. I couldn't be happier. The seat cushion is fantastic compared to previous chairs that I've bought and appears to be holding up quite well.

It's definitely spendy, but the 12 year warranty gives me some nice peace of mind. My last 7 chairs haven't lasted for more than 1-3 years for a variety of reasons (mechanical breakdown, shitty bonded leather peeling all over, etc.). So, if I get 12+ years out of this, then despite it being so expensive, I won't have actually spent all that much more than I would have if I continued to buy cheaper chairs as I've been doing for the past 20 years.

After using this for a while now, here's my advice.

If your job requires you to sit in a chair for hours at a time and/or you just sit in a chair for hours at a time for whatever reason ... invest in a high quality Office chair. I wish I'd committed to a chair of this quality 20 years ago. My back loves me now, my butt loves me now, and overall it's just so nice to sit in it.

Nice bonus was having the chair arrive fully assembled. :D

I guess I should have bought an ikea office chair despite its almost 2x the price of this gaming chair.

Btw thanks a bunch for the tips. It does helps a ton.

I wonder why only ikea selling ergonomic office chairs in here. The market is flooded with normal chairs, "beautiful" looking chairs, etc

Btw now I really want a scorpion chair lol

I read an article saying gaming chairs were a great deal as office chairs. I agree with the sentiment here. They stink. My chair from university surplus was $5 and better imo.

Yeah, if you shop used office sales or university sales you can score a nice office chair. That's one way to get some of the cheaper (but still really good) Steelcase office chairs for an extremely low price. Prior to looking into high quality office chairs I didn't know who they were. But evidently they've been making quality office furniture (chairs, desks, etc.) since 1912. Lots of universities and offices use them so it's not hard to find them used when universities and offices buy new office equipment.

I'm sure there are other high quality office furniture manufacturers that make really good ergonomic chairs that most have never heard of as well since some don't sell direct to the public.

Gaming chairs are the worst and are so overpriced it's ridiculous. The key is to get a genuine office chair.
I second that. Most "gaming" chairs made to resemble racing car seats are neither very comfortable nor fine adjustable. They may look cool, but their usual headrest/backrest design is meant to support HANS devices (head and neck restraint) and hold the driver in place during sharp turns - neither of these features are needed for a computer chair. Their lumbar support is also very basic - typically just a small cushion on a strap - while real car seats have built-in, freely adjustable lumbar.

I suggest you to look for PU leather 'executive' chairs, if you can't find a cloth/mesh 'office' chair - though the latter are far more confortable, especially models with mechanically adjustable lumbar and headrest; some top models will also let you adjust seat depth.

And if you tend to lean back in your chair as much as I do, you will appreciate a knee-tilt mechanism with synchro seat plate - i.e. where both the backrest and the seat are reclined in sync with each other (though at different angles) and the pivot axis is located directly under your knees. Typically it's also possible to lock the backseat at any angle of reclination with the left-side lever. This feels as good as real car seat.

BTW of all the computer chairs I tried in local stores, Samurai S-3 was the most comfortable one; I doubt this specific model is available elsewhere though. That said, these days most office chairs are assembled from generic parts on a few large Chinese factories, and there are generic-brand variants of a very similar (though slightly less advanced) design. It's worth a try to look for similar models in your local stores.

I've also checked the IKEA MARKUS and IKEA JÄRVFJÄLLET chairs and they are fine, but have their drawbacks - specifically, MARKUS uses a knee-tilt mechanism but headrest and lumbar are not adjustable; JÄRVFJÄLLET has adjustable headrest, lumbar, and seat depth, but uses a less convenient center pivot mechanism; and both can only lock the backrest in either fully straight or fully reclined state, but not in any intermediate position.

Also the IKEA POÄNG armchair felt very comfortable to me, but it's not really designed for desk use.
