AMD Radeon RDNA2 Navi (RX 6500, 6600, 6700, 6800, 6900 XT)

Eeerm because this launch is uneventful since the cards are behaving exactly like AMD said they would?
Or because IHVs actually do manage to pull the strings on exactly how much secrecy they want to come out before launch?

I think you’re reading too much into it. No real Ampere reviews leaked before NDA lift either if I recall correctly.

:( that's much more expensive than I was hoping. I remember the days when prices in the UK were less than US MSRP even with tax. Thanks Brexit.
Nothings happened to the $-£ rate recently, it's just etailers taking advantage. True it's not like it was back in the day when HD3970s were £300, but those prices shouldn't be that high. Look at overclockers, RX5700XTs for £500! All due to supply and demand I guess.

Yes the situation primarily changed with the original vote in 2016. I remember the UK rip off price of my GTX 1070 being one of the first major casualties. It looks like my next GPU will be a casualty too. Although I really don't think I can spend this much on a GPU. I'll probably give it a couple of months and see what happens. Thanks to the consoles focus on 4k, my 1070 actually holds up really well. The only major thing that's likely to sway me in the short term is how much difference Ray Tracing makes. I expect CB 2077 may make things too difficult to resist.

good luck to everyone.

I'm trying on amazon , newegg and amd. I would perfer amazon because of the return policy till January something. That way I can see if any of the custom cards are head and shoulders above the stock ones. I wont open this card until reviews go up for the others if I'm lucky enough to get a stock

Early game benchmarks compared to the 5700XT

Cool, looks faster than the 3090 in Valhalla at 1080p and 1440p and only a little slower at 4K.

EDIT: similar picture with WD:L as well, although only a bit faster than the 3080 at 4K. Kicking arse at 1080p though (which is largely irrelevant to be fair).

They should have named this 20+TF monster the 9700pro just because.

Oh, and the GPU clocks look very, very good. Over 2400Mhz in every benchmark!

Ye, its going well over 2500mhz but 2400+ as a minimum. Can imagine these clocks going up on some 3rd party models. I thought 2.2ghz on ps5 was high. Not so high anymore :p

And just like that, the videos were marked as private so no one further can see them.
