Playstation 5 [PS5] [Release November 12 2020]

I'm not sure why folks are hung up on tear downs, seeing a tear down of the Xbox360 wouldn't have shown that the new lead free solder was prone to developing micro-cracks, teardowns of my launch PS4 or PS4 Pro didn't reveal both would sound like industrial blowers after 12 months, they don't help the consumer make an informed choice on anything. I want one because I have a long term obsession with heat sink and cooler design caused by being exposed to too much hardcore cooler porn as an impressionable teen during the Celeron 300A era, no other reason.

So you are just a regular fans fan then?

so a french leaker just revealed the entire sony showing. his name is ken bogard on twitter if you're interested im not going to spoil anything here.

I wouldn't say entire showing unless you don't expect there to be anything about Prices and PreOrders?

I thought they'd make PS Now part of PS Plus. One subscription for everything, now they just need to roll music and films into it as well.

What would they call it, PSPlus + PSNow = PSNowPlus?

I recall stories of PS4 being drop-shipped to meet demand (air freight).
I recall them doing this for PS3. This really f***ing expensive, particularly now given there is much low freight capacity. If true, this is costing Sony an arm and a leg.

I bet they've actually got a good deal on this. It's not like the airlines are doing a roaring business right now. The pandemic is costing them billions, they'll be hungry for any cash they can get and both Sony and MS will be using this to get a good discount I bet.

We have spoiler tags. I assume this is the leak: It’s just a list of titles, so I’m not sure what’s being potentially spoilt. While I can believe they’re all sensible future targets to show up within PS5’s lifetime, I feel like you don’t need insider info to guarantee that some of them aren’t showing up anytime soon and this sounds like a fake leak.

Don't know about this. It is the passenger aircraft that are sitting idle. I would imagine air freight has done rather well with everyone ordering more online lately.

uhhhhh.
It just doesn't seem likely that will be the showing for Wednesday.
It's like one of those, we know they are all coming, but some of them were just released like a few months ago.
Half already known, some possible and the rest maybe just DLC or side sequels

I thought new generation was the key time to take the risk and invest in new IP.

I would want to believe given the "new experience" the PS5 can power they would be dripping with new IP.

I cannot believe every franchise is ripe for SSD promoting portals.

New ad. The Binaural Audio is strong in this one (like all previous PS5 ads so far):

teardown should be before sales date so i can make an informed purchase.
Who the fuck buys a new console based on a teardown?

I'm not gonna lie, that sounds more like a fanboy wishlist than an actual leak. It's just "let's group together all of Sony's 1st party hits and make sequels out of those".
And some of those don't even make any sense. TLoU3 a handful of months after TLoU2 came out? Together with Uncharted 5 that should come from the same studio?
Who's the guy from the tweet?

I bet they got one hell of a deal on using Boeing 737 Max planes...
