Anyone know how the hell you can report to MS that their website is broken?

I'm trying to get support for building a UWP app from Unity. MS's documentation leads me here, where I can link to their forums:

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/support/

However, when I log in, I'm stuck in an eternal loop refreshing this page:

https://docs.microsoft.com/_themes/...edirectUrl=https://docs.microsoft.com/answers

This happens on Firefox, Edge, and even Chrome on Android.

I've just wasted half an hour following links to 'support', none of which allow me to get support on using MS's websites. Anyone know how I can get MS to look into this?

Twitter? :p

(I assume you've tried nuking all cookies etc. Anytime I come across infinite undiscovery of a website, it's the only way to be sure.)

Can't be cookies as I've never visited the site or similar on Chrome. Whatever happened to having a contact for the Webmaster of a site??

Have you tried sending an email via Outlook.com ?

Yes, I know, that site too is likely broken by the same sort of single-sign-on system failure causing infinite loading.

We had similar issues with MS sites at work in the last three months. It's SSO redirection from hell. One site breaks the other site it tries to redirect to. Clearing cookies cannot solve the problem.

Try in porn-mode in firefox (incognito? privacy?) so it won't let MS pollute it's own cookies between all the redirects.

I just tried in Vivaldi and Chrome and both logged in fine for me.

Support emailed back saying they can only help with accounts and pointing me to their Support Agent, which doesn't have a category for 'MS website not working'. So currently, there's a bug at MS which I can't report or address in any way, and they refuse to hear about!

how about contacting the general support live chat? you need to pass the bot to talk to a human.

start,
type
get help

Did that. The agents there just skip past to easy solutions. the only response i got was to report the problem through Windows 10 feedback.

It's not a problem with Windows 10 or an MS application. It's outside the remit of all their public support structures. I think I need to create a new MS account to get onto the boards for discussion. There, I may be able to initiate contact to get a fix. Otherwise, I'll just have to use a second account for connecting with other UWP devs.

glad you sorted it out. It worked just fine for me on Edge Dev -based on chromium-, also worked fine for me using Brave -which is odd, it's a restrictive browser-. Those are my 2 favouite browsers
