Hello guys

I need to clone my OS and contents on a bigger drive which I ll install into my PC.
Does anyone have a good free disk cloning software in mind?

I want to clone the disk as is and once insert it in the motherboard, have everything intact as it was on the previous SSD

I use Clonezilla.
https://clonezilla.org/
It's free, based on Linux and it has a basic ncurses interface (not the most intuitive though).
It supports disk-to-disk, disk-to-image and image-to-disk cloning.
You could do a disk-to-disk cloning and then enlarge the data partition to fit the bigger drive.

If the drive is a WD, Acronis TrueImage is free. I used it today on a friend's computer.
The drive that needs to be cloned is a samsung and the new drive is an intel. I suppose it is not free then

From my experience its better to use clinezilla. Acorns true image can mess up the UEFI partition.

Everything will work absolutely fine. but if you want to edit the BCD in the future, it will become a nightmare.
