CRC Error's ???

I was installing a game but the installer said some file failed crc check
I tried several times and even copied the contents of the dvd to a folder on the hard drive.
I noticed that on different attempts different files would fail and files that failed previously passed.
That got me thinking it wasnt a problem with the files.
So I tried changing the memory speed, mine was set to 1600mhz xmp profile 1
I disabled xmp that set the ram to 1333.
I tried the install again and it worked fine.

If you really want to go back to XMP profile, you can try raising the voltage slightly to the ram and see if it helps with stability.

For DRAM Voltage you would set the XMP profile, see what it sets the Voltage value to (eg. 1.500v) and try 1.550v or 1.600v and see if it's more stable.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to err on the side of caution and leave it at 1333
