I'll start by saying that where I live there's a kitchen garden that I had to weed by hand. Here's how it looked at the beginning (and sorry for the crappy pictures):
At first, I planted 8 tomatoes, 1 eggplant, 1 pumpkin and "2" zucchinis (I'll tell you why the quotation marks later).
After weeding (from the other side, and God, why is the picture so awful?):
You can see the tomato plants in the left plot (I dug 2 just to plant a few things, since I don't have much time), next to the blue bucket, in the middle of the two plots. You can also see the eggplant at the bottom, the pumpkin at the center left, and the "2" zucchinis at the center right.
