Some things about the Star Wars universe confuses me.

...Like, for example, why don't Force users simply use the Force to turn off their opponent's light saber in a duel?

(You're welcome, Lucasfilm, btw.)

I though force actually have its own will (due to how inconsistent and picky their behavior are)? like Destiny with its "light". You dont actually fully control force/light

controlling force/light is more like having a constant discussion and persuasion. the best light/force weilder simply able to persuade it much better than normal folk.

one of the best persuasion method was to blare heart-pumping orchestra music

why didn't dooku cut obi wan in half when he was holding him in levitation during their fight in episode 3 ?

would be really boring ? Also a jedi builds his own weapon and forms a semi bond with it. ( please remember that Disney killed the extended universe and replaced it with the horrible sequels so who knows)

yes the force has its own will and you can exert your will over it or in conjunction with it if your able to feel the force. A more powerful force user can over power a weaker one. However most duels the force users are augmenting their own bodies so they would of course have more control over that then another person

Why did the Jedi want to bring balance to The Force? There were hundreds of Jedi and only 2 Sith. Their chosen one brought absolute balance ... 2 Jedi (Yoda / Ben) and 2 Siths (Vader, Emperor).
they thought the balance would benefit them. They didn't realize they were the side that grew out of control.

As for Christopher Lee not killing Obi Wan ... well that would ruin the movie/s

Well, Like why do they keep on fighting with swords when there´s plenty of laser guns avaliable?

Han solo.. errr Indy already solved this

laser bullets move much slower and are much bigger and easier to see. That combined with the force allows them to be blocked.

Blasters are useless against the Jedi, they deflect the shots easily with lightsaber.

Which makes you wonder... Shouldn't lightsaber strikes be even easier to block than blaster bolts (or whatever they are)?

Presumably, even with Force-enchanted reflexes they still have to deal with a Force-user who is just as adept at changing the direction of strikes whereas a projectile is fire & forget.

Because Obi-Wan is a Sith. ;)

Nay, The slow motion of laser bullets was for theatrical puposes lol

Anyway, They pulled off the order 66 and jedis were slaughtered with guns. Checkmate

clones of the guy who fought Obi wan (one of the greatest jedi swordsmen alive ) to a virtual tie ganged up on all the jedi in the field to kill them when they weren't suspecting them. The clones were not connected to the force due to them being clones.

Thats checkmate my friend !
