New Metro?

How would that work.

Logic then says non patched games play 4k with a 4k TV if they are supersampling?
1 - Apply supersampling AA
2 - Upscale to 4K
?

VSR like features on how the PC does it?
Why would they use VSR? That would be rendering at a higher resolution than 1080p (e.g. 1440p, 2160p) and then downscale to 1080p. That's only useful when you have a 1080p screen, not a 4K one.

Here, they seemed quite clear that the output resolution would be 1080p though...

Oh, I was thinking they were talking about using the excess power to run 1080p games in higher fidelity on 1080p sets.
