My phone's WiFi chip and modem signal booster thingy are busted. Does reflowing is a good fix?

It works again when I put some pressure or heat. Like when I sit on it for a few minutes or when I put it on my car's dashboard.

I also have tried to stick a cardboard on the chip to add pressure and it works for a day.

Is reflowing a good fix? Or it will be like Xbox 360 and I will need to reflow it again in a few months?

P.S. I've told my cat not to sleep on top of it.

Maybe you should tell us what electronic devices/gadgets that you have that never have a problem, you know, as a reference if I want to buy something durable.

You should use the Towel Wrap fix, similar to how launch X360s were fixed, but substitute the towel with your cat.
