Final Fantasy XV [XO, PS4, PC]

Bu
I suspect the game looks inconsistent because the development on the PS3 went far and a great deal of assets were reused or upgraded instead of being made from scratch
But the rocks were made from scratch and it still looks inconsistent. Some looks very blocky, less rocky, complete with low resolution texture. Some other looks fine

I'm glad I'm not really a stickler for these kinds of things. I appreciate them, but they're fairly low on my list. Just about everyone came away from the demo mighty impressed. That's good enough for me. I'd gladly trade some of Deus Ex Mankind Divided's (which is a pretty damn good game if you favor interaction over merely watching) image quality for some halfway decent facial animations. Those really are at least one generation behind the curve. They make Fallout 4's look state of the art as a matter of fact.

FFXV PS4 slim LE 1TB bundle announced for every regions. I must admit it looks great.

lol btw in the TGS206 trailer

the visual quality is really all over the place :(

curious with the neo and (internal) PC version

A trade in option for ps4 owners. I am extremely surprised and flabbergasted that a trade in option for ps4 Pro does not exist! They want to flood the market with second hand ps4s or what?!?

Any word on what's different on the Pro yet?

Those who attended highly praised the high resolution, splendid texture, and smooth and stable framerate of Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 Pro. Additionally, they said that the texture of the trees and plants on the field were really impressive, making it look like a completely different game from the original.

Speaking about the Final Fantasy XV PlayStation 4 Pro enhancements, Game Spark notes how the game runs much better on the new console, with a stable frame rate and improved texture clarity. It’s also been noted how vegetation receives some very noticeable improvements.

Mostly high res textures, more vibrant colors and more stable framerate than Xone and Ps4 standard version it seems.[/quote]

HDR along should make it look head and shoulder above the original, the increased res, LOD, foliage density and framerate are simply icing on the cake. Of course, it really means you need to play it on a decent HDR capable tv to fully realize Pro's potential.

More vibrant? I assume they are using HDR tv? Otherwise, I don't see how PS4/X1 version could be less vibrant. It is possible that the new build is inherently more vibrant though.
