UC4: Best looking gameplay? *SPOILS*

Yes, the same guy who is also passive-aggressive when it comes to Sony titles just as the same guys were many years ago. I know.

Just contribute without the condescending parts then, which is what I quoted. Did anyone say UC4 is going to outdo CGI films graphics quality? No? OK. Then don't try to go down that road.

If you correct something, leave it at that. Anything more is superfluous at best and just plain annoying at worst. So again, just reminding you, you can do one without the other.

So make sure you do that. Stick to your corrections and there wouldn't be an issue.

This shot here has some very natural looking lighting on Drake, the SSS works the best in scenario like this.

They posted another presentation

The 2014 teaser was never running on ps4?

I knew there was a difference in visuals.

The teaser was running on PS4 but less than 10 fps and probably less than 5 fps like the first trailer of Detroit Become Human with crazy motion blur, DOF, texture filtering and Anti aliasing same thing for the demo the Dark Sorcerer... They edited a video and it looks like it runs at 30 or 60 fps...

They explain that everything was top notch without compromise and too much for realtime rendering at interactive framerate(30 or 60 fps) at interactive frameratew.

For Detroit first trailer and the Dark Sorcerer demo the motion blur and DOF can work at 1080p and 30 to 60 fps with a machine two order of magnitude faster than a PS4...

Same thing PBR for soft material is impossible in realtime on PS4 at 30 or 60 fps in 1080p...

Those untempered expectations about ps4 sounded nearly amateurish. Disapointing for them to come from a ND programmer.

If they were really trying to go for that on PS4 the environments would have to be waaay scaled down.

And originally they were thinking even of 60 fps too. Would be a completely different game if they kept those targets.

As a cutscene it fits with the game though, just not as gameplay.

It's interesting to see not even Gears of War 4 PC ultra settings could compete with good ol UC4. The Xbone shackling is really showing here especially the foliage, lighting and general asset quality.

The first two you posted looked no more impressive than the ones I posted, in fact mines are slightly more impressive due to more moonlight luminosity. The last three of your pics are from cutscenes and we know how good UC4 cutscenes look.

These look good but i don't think it's up to UC4. Especially the character closeups. Also, i really don't like the ao on that foliage but that's just a personal preference i guess.

But again, the game is specced around the base OG X1 model and the PC version is in a way limited.

Sure, but if you're gonna decide on screenshots to compare, you might be less disingenious about the selection!

I guess that is true. And we can't even "select" Gears screenshots because the game is not out yet :p

Well, there's the entire Geforce.com article to sift through, and there are certainly less/more flattering shots to pick there than was originally posted.

Before y'all get your panties in a bunch, I'm not disagreeing with certain art quality. Naughty Dog does kind of have some top quality veterans.

Kind of. ;)

I have no idea who Coalition/Black Tusk have on-board for their relatively new studio.
