Screenshots from the PC version running at 1080p, doesn't look much different than the X1 version

Maybe remedy are using temporal reconstruction on PC as well, and the resolution you choose is not the actual resolution?

One takeaway from this is that X1 players don't really miss anything if they don't play the PC version.
