No Man's Sky [PS4, PS5, XO, XBSX|S, PC, NX, XGP]

Lots of speculation around that this is going to be priced and dated at PGW. Sean Murray from Hello Games was on Colbert's The Late Show a few weeks back doing promotion so it's got it be close.

What? Why? It would be amazing but I've seen zero hints that this would be the case or that they're even interested in VR for now.

well its almost nov , when was the last game you know of that was announced late oct/nov and launched in nov/dec ?

They could release it Q1 but that's a slow time of year. Q2 is when the head set is supposed to come out and this looks like it will be a really good showcase for the head set.

Its just my thoughts.

hopefully its not morpheus exclusive and from the way sean talks, at least he also interested in Oculus. Dunno with Vive

The game was announced at E3 2014, it's only pricing and release that people have been waiting for.

The spaceship bits should work ok in VR, but wouldn't the walking around bits be puke inducing? Guess you could remove the headset when you land and use it as a viewer if you find a nice bit of landscape.

yes and when was the last time a game got a release date weeks before it ships ?
No Man's Sky next week.

Announcement just before release used to be the norm then it got ridiculous. It's definitely better in the indie world though and Hello Games are indie.

June 2016 according to Sony's Paris Games Week Press Conference.

So you announce a game in 2013 with some BS trailer and release it 3 years later.

Hello!!! In 3 years you develop a full blown game.. and announce it approx. one year before release. What have these guys been doing, did
they sign some contract with Sony to show up at every show to maintain progress to ensure they didn't sit on their l*z* a***ses** the whole time ?

Hello!!!
Hello!!! Actually, Hello Games!!! Amazingly this is worse than Ubisoft and WATCH_DOGS so wow to that!

If Sony wanted to feature it in their presentations (iirc that's the gist of what Sean/someone from HG have said in the past) HG should've said no?
