My glorious paymasters are running a really cool course here at IMG HQ in the UK, designed to get educators up to speed with the basics of real-time rendering on mobile devices. It's a development-focused thing, covering rendering techniques, OpenGL ES, programmable shading in that API, our SDK and other industry standard tools, and performance optimisation using our analysis tools.

While strictly speaking part of our University program, I think the guys running it would be amenable to keen students of graphics programming in general, those that are interested in getting started with mobile 3D programming, showing up to learn along with the others.

Just ask them if you're interested! If you know someone at a University outside of the UK that might benefit from having this program run for them, please let them know so they can get in touch. Robert and Laurence who run the program here at IMG would love to get feedback about interest no matter where it comes from.

Aww this is really interesting but it's too close and (our) classes begin next week. Hopefully there will be other programmes in the coming months.
