Trials Fusion [PS4, XO]

Wow, Trials Fusion is pretty hardcore. I could see myself spending a whole lot of effort trying to pull off a lot of these challenges.. or giving up and slinking away.

Haven't played a 'tricks' game like this in some time.

First reviews out.

The Game Scouts: 10/10 (http://www.thegamescouts.com/2014/04/trials-fusion-review.html)
Gaming Charged: 9/10 (http://gamingcharged.com/2014/04/16/review-trials-fusion-ps4/)

"The landscapes are absolutely beautiful to say the least. Trials Fusion runs at a silky smooth 1080p and 60fps for the PS4 and 900p and 60fps for Xbox One. The environments were so surreal and sometimes the environment interacted with the rider in ways that were incredibly clever. This relationship also worked in reverse, having the players impact the environment just by completing the level or certain challenges. I experienced no frame rate drops or rendering issues while playing through the entirety of the game. The camera angles really brought out the most in the levels allowing the players to see even the tiniest of details. The colors were absolutely wonderful, one of my favorite levels was easily the Fusion Factory which gave off a very vibrant Tron feel. The best part of it all was the fact that the map just looked so natural, everything harmonized together really well so that nothing looked out of place."

Seems that they like our new physically based lighting pipeline :)

Now waiting for the big sites...

From the Polygon review:
Trials Fusion is stymied by some glaring technical issues. The most noticeable of these arrives in the form of texture pop-in, as signs and background environments jump from blurry to sharp from one second to the next. Both the Xbox One and the PS4 versions of the game suffered from these issues. The Xbox One version had additional problems, as specific levels show harsh frame rate drops and screen tearing.

wut??

I don't know. I will inform you when I get the official information about this. Seems that at least some players in NeoGAF forums got the patch for their PS4.

Ok cause I just finished downloading the XBOX ONE version and don't want to start playing unless I know that I'm going to get the best experience.

Is it not possible to see version history on Xbox One? You can on PS4, although it's not obvious. Selecting a game title and hitting the options button (on the controller) will let you see the version history. Perhaps there is something similar in the Xbox One dashboard?

Yup, no demo and guess what : the game is priced at $35 for us !!! Season pass also $35. Game +season pass for $50 ! Wow !

So, I made a US account and am downloading the demo now. Also, will buy from the US account using a $20 psn card. We are used to higher prices than normal, but this is almost double of what US is getting :-/

Played this for hours and hours last night on the PS4. I had bought it on the web store, and the game and patch were waiting for me when I got home.

My god, this game is addicting.

And beautiful. I find myself just wanting to get to walk around in some of these levels.
