How much do you pay for internet access?

As we have people from all over the world here, I'm wondering how much do you pay for internet access in your country/region/isp?
Here in Slovenia (EU wanna be country :devilish:) we have:
-Dial-up for students: 0.58 euro/hour (7am-7pm) and 0.32 euro/hour (7pm-7am)
-Dial-up (no subscription): 0.82 euro/hour (7am-7pm) and 0.45 euro/hour
-ADSL - 1Mbps/256Kbps (which is the lowest you can get): 34 euro/month (29 euro/month for students)
-ADSL - 4Mbps/768Kbps (which is the highest you can get): 62 euro/month (52 euro/month for students)
-cable - 128Kbps/64Kbps: 23 euro/month (15 euro/month for students)
-cable - 1Mbps/256Kbps: 38 euro/month (28 euro/month for students)
And that's basically it (of course we have more then one cable provider, more then one dial-up provider, but we have only one ADSL provider)... ;)

My connection at home is:
- aDSL 256Kbps (128kbps upload)
- always on (24/7)
- no traffic limits and all IP services
- 20 e-mail address
- 20MB homepage
- free local and phone technical support
- exclusive local content

Telecom+ISP aproximatelly US$30/month

Cable modem, 1.5-2.5Mbps down, 128-ish up. $41.95US/month

ADSL (1.5 down/128 up) is offered in some parts of town for $26.95/month, but not at my house.

2.1Mbit down
256K up

Cable - 45$ month.

Waiting on them to up it to 3MBits.

Ive had 1.5/256 ADSL for 39.95 a month.

all US Dollars.

Cable Modem currently through Comcast, before that use to be AT&T Broadband, before that use to be @Home.

Current capped speeds are 1.5mbps down and 256kbps up.

I have purchased a Cable Modem so I don't have that rent fee anymore, I currently pay $42.95 a month for the service.

I recently changed ISP. Now I have a VDSL connection at theoretical speeds:
10 Mbps down
9 Mbps up
I pay 400 SEK a month, i.e. about 45 euro or 50 USD (would have been more like 35 USD a year ago before the dollar fell).
Downspeed actually comes close to theoretical value. I haven't tested upspeed.

I pay £23.44 a month for 512/256 ADSL the average price in the UK for this service is closer to £27.99 these days.

1mbit ADSL and Cable come in at around £34.99.

£1 = $1.6 approximately.

Dial up ISDN/Modem: 50-90 cent € per hour, depending on the provider and minimum hours per month rates etc.

ADSL 768kbit/128 ~€35 per month
ADSL 1.5mbit/256 ~€45 per month

ADSL rates with traffic limits start at ~€15.

$37 a month cdn (~$28us) for cable. No limit, although I have heard of people being 'released' because of excessive bandwidth use.

$60 a month for 384/128kbps ADSL, buy your own modem. No traffic limits, but it dies every five minutes.

Argh. Wish there wasn't a monopoly on internet service in this town. Stupid ISP/cable company/phone company...

No shit. I came from Comcast service that I had in ALABAMA, of all places, and it was 1.5Mbps/256kbps for $45 a month. Worked really well, and never went out. GARGH, I miss it.
