Processors in the system are as important as mind in human body. In my point of view, followings are the best intel gameing processors.
Intel Core i7-990X (12M Cache, 3.46 GHz,)
Intel Core i7-965 (8M Cache, 3.20 GHz,)
Intel Core i7-980 (12M Cache, 3.33 GHz,)
Intel Core i7-960 (8M Cache, 3.20 GHz,)
Intel Core i7-2600K (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz,)
And if you want use AMD then you should select form followings.
A8-3550MX (4 MB, 2 GHz)
A8-3530MX (4 MB, 1.9 GHz)
A8-3510MX (4 MB, 1.8 GHz)
A8-3520M (4 MB, 1.6 GHz)
A8-3500M (4 MB, 1.5 GHz).
What are yours.

Obviously you need a CPU with 12MB cache to play games, Davros... Didn't you know that?!

OP looks like a shill/spammer to me. Most of his posts are pure junk.

Intel's best "gameing" processors are either a 2-year-old sandybridges some of the 4-year-old Nehalem/Westmere variations.
If, by any chance you just can't find one of these CPUs, then your only other option for gameing is to get a mobile, mid-range APU from AMD.

Pure common knowledge, folks.

And old ones at that too :).

I think the bot needs some tuning ;-).

The sad part is a six core Sandy Bridge is likely the best you can get for an overall future proof gaming CPU AND IT'S NOT EVEN ON THE BOT'S LIST.
