You may want to narrow it down to which country you're in and your availability (e.g. summer holidays).

Are you looking for comapnies that do 3d modelling, game development, coding or something else?

If you have already made some 3D models and/or games then putting them online somewhere as a portfolio would always help show you're interested wherever you apply :)

Good luck.

Make mods for games. Hone your talents that way. If you keep at it you will have a huge headstart over most people by the time you are of employable age. It will also give you some insight into teamwork, shared documentation, version control etc - but the main focus will still be on the bits you enjoy.

Also there is no need to work in a team if you find that a struggle for now (some will probably be not so patient with people younger than them, or take them seriously). Some great mods have been produced by people working alone and in the first instance probably the best way to show off your talents to mod teams.

If mods aren't an option, grab the XNA developers tools and pop your models in there and make some simple demos/games. It will probably be useful to you to know the basics of how that side of it works, even if you just want to remain an artist.

Thanks for that, had totally forgotten about that being publicly available. I've downloaded and installing now, will see if there's something I can do with it.

EDIT: Cool, already managed to crash it by clicking CSF Add/Substract after each other quickly ... ;)
