Nice, someone spent hours trying out all the different combinations until it got it right the first time? I wish I was young enough to have that kind of free time.
Yeah, it's far from the most polished game I've played, but It's a blast.
Found this yesterday and was gonna play with it a bit. It's a list of moddings to make the game less awful; eliminating bloom, motion blur, SSAO, etc. Also some stuff on improving the feel of the mouse and movement, which is awful.
The game pisses me off because it feels like it COULD be something really good, it just isn't quite yet.

I was about to start complaining about the god awful stutteryness of this game, but I see the Dead Island Config Tool linked above has a fix for it which doesn't involve setting Filter Keys, which was becoming a major pain in the ass.
All in all this is one of the worst ports I've played in recent history; the stuttering alone would account for that but there are other basic things they got wrong too. Can't use scroll wheel to switch weapons?
Fortunately the game is fun, at least in co-op. Haven't tried SP yet.
