Rate your 2010!

That's because anything less than 5/10 wouldn't have been purchased in the first place. Games that bad don't even deserve a shot.

Isnt game rental a big thing in you country?
I know here in nz, video shops 2/3 space is films rental + 1/3 are game rentals (i.e try out the game for a couple of bucks)

I dont polay video games but do watch films
here are the films I watched last month, as u can see from my ratings I will watch anything even if I'm pretty sure I wont like it cause you never know, sometimes you come across a gem, ones mans shit is another shinola

though this was a pretty bad month for films. usually I hit a few 8/10's or even a 9/10 during a month

GOWIII 9.5/10 - my first GOW experience loved the production values especially the music
BFBC2 8.5/10 - the best fps multiplayer experience thus far for me
Darksiders 6/10 - not done with it yet just seems sloppy compare to other AAA games
COD: BO 7/10 - love the zombies

Did not by too many games this year

Scott Pilgrim the Game (Xbox Live) 8/10 - great 16bit style brawler. Like River City Ransom, but with new bells and whistles. Really solid title. Lack of online co-op is lame, preventing a 9/10. You can play locally together, like the good old days.

UFC misogynists.

Really? I mean...really? This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my life. Well, maybe not ever...but still absurd!

My 2010 looked like this:

January - MAG. Lots of it.

God of War 3 - It was good enough, and I felt the action ride was fun for what I paid. I wish that they would have had more challenges, and possibly something like the absolutely awesome Bloody Palace from DMC4.

FFXIII - Eh, 30 hours of tutorial, 12 hours of awesome, followed by about 30 more hours of grinding and nothing if you want to get everything. Best RPG Boss battles of 2010 hands down though, because the combat system was GREAT when executed well (i.e. boss battles).

Dragon Quest IX - My RPG of the year. Probably have about 200 hours sunk into this bad boy. Fantastic replay value, tons of content constantly being unlocked via WiFi...just a fantastic game. Probably the best in the series, without question. I wish the co-op was just a little better though!

GT5 - Eh, I like racing games, and I really like GT5. I hate to say the game is misunderstood by a lot of folks but...well, it is, haha.

Dead Nation - The highlight of DD games for me, it's just really fun and the design is absolutely fantastic. So much effort into designing each and every street you pass through, car placement and everything is just done wonderfully. The weapons are great and have tons of variety (and personality). Oh, and it looks great too!

RE5 Gold w/Move - So I hated RE5 Vanilla, I couldn't stand it, maybe played it 3 hours and never touched it again. Loved RE4 on Wii though (similarly, never played it before Wii). Once I played it with Move I was finally able to appreciate it. The game comes together considerably better with a point-n-shoot set up, and really starts to deliver on those better action sequences. I didn't need to take time to jump in since RE4 Wii was so familiar for me. Fantastic experience (with Move, lol).

There were many more games I played, but I don't want to stay here all night writing, haha. Oh, and I don't do numerical values. I think they are ridiculous and serve nothing more than a "oh I loved it" or "oh I hated it" (empty and meaningless). Words > Numbers, any day of the week! DOWN WITH STUPID NUMBERS!
